The Royal Bake (Part 1): Lemon Curd Cups

Hi everyone, this post is new on more than one level. I was given a beautiful cooking and baking book as a present from my friends and since they know that I am a huge royal fan, it was not just any cooking and baking book. They got me the one by Carolyn Robb who used to be Prince Charles’s and Princess Diana’s personal chef many years ago. I was really excited!

The recipes come with little anecdotes from their Royal Highnesses and also with tipps on how to decorate your home and how to entertain. I really cherish this book and would like to try out recipes and post them here. I hope you like them. For those of you who would like to know which book I am talking about, here are the two versions of that book:

Since it is spring and sunshine is in the air, I opted for this wonderful and appealing recipe below. Carolyn Robb calls them Lemon Tartlets and they remind her of the Garden Parties at Buckingham Palace.
