Crown Princess Victoria ranks amongst the most popular royals in Europe. The future Queen of Sweden is well-known for her regal but also highly relatable manner. At 43 the Crown princess comes across as a wonderful top representative for her country and as a happy wife and mother of two adorable children. Only last month she celebrated her birthday amongst her loved ones on Öland off the Baltic coast, in the summer residence of the Swedish royal family. Traditionally, the Crown princess celebrates her birthday on the island of Öland with a concert that will be broadcasted live on Swedish TV. The annual celebrations started when Victoria turned two and the scale of the festivities grew over the years. The Victoriadagen marks a key event in the royal calendar with the whole family taking part in it. This year, the celebrations were cut short due to the corona pandemic. One highlight, amongst the concert, is when Victoria’s father, King Carl Gustav takes the lead on singing happy birthday together with the many tourists who gather on the grounds of Solliden Palace to celebrate her royal highness’ birthday. It is a a beautiful testament of a loving father and his daughter.
