Omid Scobie and Catherine Durand’s book Finding Freedom has created a new rift between the Cambridges and the Sussexes as ever more details unfold. Now it has emerged that the princely brothers are barely on speaking terms ever since Prince Harry and his wife Meghan have left the UK for good. According to the Daily Mail William and Harry have not spoken for a full two months after Harry and Meghan dropped the news to withdraw from the Royal Family. The shock of Harry and Meghan leaving “The Firm” (as the Crown is also called) has left William speechless.
The fallout apparently started at the beginning of this year when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced to step down as senior royals to pursue a more independent life but nonetheless help their various charities and causes. After a last round of public engagements in March, Harry and Meghan first flew to Canada and after a few weeks there went on to stay in Los Angeles. It has now emerged that they purchased a 14 million dollar mansion in Santa Barbara which indicates that they plan to make this their permanent home.
Ever since the dramatic withdrawal of the Royal Family, many months have passed but still the brothers are hardly on speaking terms as Omid Scobie has most recently claimed. The question now is whether this might be still the shock of Harry and Meghan pulling out of the The Firm or whether this is due to the book “Finding Freedom” itself, which holds intricate information about William and and his wife Catherine.
Does William no longer trust his own brother and fears that his words might be twisted or taken out of context for yet more revelations from Scobie and others (affiliated to the Sussexes)?
