Today, Queen Letizia of Spain visited a board meeting of FEDER (Federación Espanola de Enfermedades Raras) which is the Spanish Federation for Rare Diseases. She was informed about how families cope with rare diseases and the opportunities that science can offer to help patients suffering from rare diseases. It is not the first time that Queen Letizia has visited FEDER. At the beginning of the year she was seen for a tour of the FEDER headquarters in Madrid. This time she took part in a meeting and got a first-hand experience of how FEDER operates.

As usual, Queen Letizia (47) cut a stylish figure wearing a tweet jacket from Hugo Boss and dark elegant trousers. Her business attire was well in line with the down-to-earth and factual focus of the meeting. One can tell that Queen Letizia takes a keen interest in the progress made at FEDER. Her looks and her recurrent appearances there bear testament to that.
