In 2001, Sophie was flown from her home in Surrey to London’s King Edward VII. hospital for an emergency operation. It was discovered that the Countess had an ectopic pregnancy.

More InformationSophie married Prince Edward (56) in 1999. Together they have two children: Lady Louise Windsor (16) and James, Viscount Severn (12). The family lives outside London in Surrey. Their country home there is Baghot Park and was a wedding present by the Queen.
