Ever since the corona pandemic we got to hear and see the British royals more because especially Kate and William took part in a number of video calls to support their organizations and to reach out to the British people. With that, Kate and William become more relatable and reachable than before. Gone are the days, in which royal watchers and Britons got to see only static pictures of them. Hearing them speak, of course, is a new dimension. It’s also the occasions that make a difference. The Cambridges really do interact with their counterparts in the video calls. They answer their questions, laugh with them and ask back. This is a major step towards modernizing a rather formal and distanced monarchy of the past.

William and Kate truly live up to their expected roles – to lead the monarchy into the future!
